A warm welcome awaits you at our bed and breakfast guest house in lovely Ambleside, the heart of the Lake District. Helen and Arthur the resident owners will do their very best to make your stay an enjoyable one. We offer high quality accommodation, in very comfortable furnished and decorated rooms. The Anchorage Guest House is in a wonderful location two minutes walk to the village centre.

The Anchorage Ambleside Lake District is a non-smoking Guest House. We are open all year with wonderful views of Loughrigg Fell and Wansfell Pike, yet so close to the village centre. A good location in Ambleside, lake district no mater what the season. Our guest house offers an ideal base to explore the Lake District with fell walking, climbing, mountain biking and water sports all nearby. We have five double bedrooms in our Bed and Breakfast which are all en-suite . In our spacious dining room we offer a wide choice for breakfast which includes, yogurt, cereal, continental, Full English breakfast (including vegetarian alternative )

All of our bedrooms are tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. All bedrooms are en-suite with Tea\Coffee making facilities, colour TV, radio alarm clocks and hairdryers. Rooms are from £25 per person per night but as prices vary please contact us for more details. No matter how long your stay, you will find everything you need to enjoy your break or holiday at The Anchorage. After a good nights sleep you can begin your day with a breakfast of cereals, yogurts fruit juice, and toast then finish with a cooked breakfast to order from local produce.
