Nestling on the edge of the Cotswolds between Oxford and Swindon, Sudbury House is in a central location within easy access of the M4 and M40. Having been completely refurbished and renovated in 2015, the hotel now offers four star accommodation and facilities with 50 ensuite bedrooms all with complimentary Wi-Fi and car parking - and two luxurious suites. 

Whether for business or pleasure, Sudbury House is a place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, perhaps a leisurely drink in the lounge bar or a freshly ground coffee, a selection of specialty teas or maybe choose from one of our local beers to unwind from a long day. If the weather is fine, then al fresco dining is a must on our extensive patio, overlooking our secluded gardens.

If dining is your pleasure, then you have a choice of two restaurants, the Magnolia Brasserie, relaxed and informal with a feature open kitchen and wood burning stove or alternatively, Restaurant 56, our unique fine dining restaurant situated in the Grade II listed building, serving elegant menus to suit all tastes.

With four meeting rooms for 2 to 100 delegates and function and wedding facilities for up to 160, Sudbury House is the complete package for all your requirements including corporate events, weddings, family gathering and private dinners.

Sudbury House has 50 luxurious rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. All rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, flat screen TVs and Wi-Fi.

We have two family rooms suitable for two adults and two children under 12, whilst for older children we also have a double bedroom that interconnects with a twin bedded room.


For a little bit of added luxury, perhaps for a special treat or celebration ask about our two Suites. Our Junior Suite is a spacious room including a large ensuite bathroom with roll top bath and double shower. In addition we have the Deluxe Suite, situated in  the Grade II Restaurant 56, boasting peaceful views across the landscaped gardens, a king sized bed, separate lounge and large ensuite bathroom with a bath and double shower. 

We also have an accessible room suitable for disabled guests, with a lift providing access to all floors.
