Shopaholic? You'll be in the right place to grab a bargain at our Birmingham Fort Dunlop hotel. It's just a short walk from the Fort Shopping Park, where you'll find plenty of big-name stores to tempt you.

You've also got easy access to the rest of the city for the likes of the NEC, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and the Thinktank science centre, home to an incredible planetarium and a fascinating tribute to the Spitfire plane.

This hotel has upgraded rooms that feature a comfy king size bed with four plump pillows and a cosy duvet. Our on-site restaurant and bar serves breakfast and tasty evening meals.

Due to the roadside location of this hotel, some external noise may be heard.

Parking

Free parking is available at this hotel and is located in the main Fort Dunlop car park to the rear of the building. Upon entry, a token will be dispensed which guests must have validated at our hotel reception to enable free exit from the car park.

Disabled guests are permitted to use the basement parking zone for drop off and pick up from the hotel but no parking is allowed as this is a Fort Dunlop staff car park only and unauthorised use will result in a charge.

There is also a free shuttle bus service that operates between the City Centre and our Fort Dunlop hotel during the morning and evening throughout peak hours in the week.

Location of the hotel is well placed to visit the NEC and areas like Litchfield. The rooms are the usual Travelodge rooms. The disable room was disappointing because it had a bath instead of a shower, which is not uncommon with Travelodge. The room was clean, fresh and tidy and there was ample space to move my wheelchair. The service from front of desk staff was excellent. Car parking not easy to see in the dark and if you are disabled be prepared for a hike to reception. There are lifts in the hotel.
