The property is located 5 km (3 miles) outside the medieval town of Lucignano, in the historic heart of the Tuscan countryside, not far from Arezzo, Siena, Cortona and Montalcino. The hotel has an excellent restaurant that offers the most delicious dishes of traditional cuisine, as well as specialities from the Tuscan region. The wine list includes several labels that can suit the taste of wine lovers, connoisseurs and experts.

In addition to the bar, the hotel has areas to meet to converse, corners gathered to read, plenty of space for entertainment, meeting and multi-purpose rooms. The I Girasoli has been designed with special attention to people with reduced mobility, elderly and disabled.

The environments are free of barriers: equipped bathrooms, special furnishings and several auxiliary tools needed in order to facilitate the movements of everyday life.

Wide parking space is available and the outdoor pools are equipped with hoist.

Within the complex, all levels are served by a large elevator, the main horizontal paths are with handles on both sides and those outside are at least two meters wide, with slopes of less than 5%.

All rooms and bathrooms are accessible. In the dining room and meeting room, spaces and paths allow easy movement on a wheelchair.

Even 9 bungalows are fully accessible: wooden ramp to reach the veranda, large sliding door to enter the house, accessible bathroom with a shower seat, wide door to enter the bedroom.

The paths to get to the bungalows are also passable by cars and have a minimum slope.
