The Wild Rover The Wild Rover, 75 Campbell St, Surry Hills NSW 2010, Australia

It's about time Tio's had some competition- and The Wild Rover is here to show it up. From the man behind CBD Grandma's Bar, James Bradey, comes this Irish meets New York style speakeasy in the backstreets of Surry Hills. The name, titled in honour of a man who spent all his money on whisky and beer, is but a taste of the eclectic-nature of this small bar addition. Whiskey, sausage rolls and oysters in a buzzy Irish bar with jungle-themed wallpaper and red drapes. The Wild Rover is your local Surry Hills neighbourhood bar. A swashbuckling, foot stomping, riotous escape from pomp, it’s designed as if it had always existed, but has only recently been found. An Irish folk barn crossed with New York chic set in an unassuming clothing house, hidden from street view.
