Description
Casa Luz do Sol is situated in Vale Formoso in the hills above Almancil, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, south of Loulé, Central Algarve. It has a private and peaceful location, green and verdant garden with an abundance of bird life and a large pool overlooking the panoramic sea views.

Ideal for family holidays with an emphasis on outdoor fun, the villa is unique in being so close to amenities and beaches yet having rural appeal usually only found far inland.

While secluded and private, the villa enjoys easy access to the shops, restaurants, bars, golf courses and beaches. The location is a great place for kids who can explore the mountain paths and walk to the riding school two minutes away.
This south west facing villa leaves the best till last. At the end of the day relax on the terrace with a glass of local Vinho Verde to watch a magnificent sunset followed by a spot of star gazing – and any lively children can take a night-time dip in the lighted pool.

A wide selection of restaurant’s, cafes, supermarkets and locally “Apolionia” with a large range of UK and European products. North to the villa the historical town of Loulee, with daily fresh vegetables and fruit market, traditional handicrafts, leather and ceramic goods.

Arrangements can be made for gourmet dining in the villa also facials & de-stress packages.

A full range of accessibility aids are for hire locally, also a ramped Renault Kangoo and a car with handcontrols/wheelchair accessible Airport transfers.

The owner is on hand for advice or emergency assistance, fluent in Portuguese and English. Complementary “meet and greet” at Faro Airport is available on request.

Additional Information
This spacious, light bedroom is ideal for wheelchair users. The double bed can be removed if an electric single bed is required, giving even more space for carers, bed hoist and wheelchairs to move around.
Electric beds & hoists are not kept at the villa however can be rented locally at reasonable prices and delivered to the villa for your arrival.

The en-suite bathroom also has space to turn around for wheelchairs. The door into the bathroom has been widened. The level access shower room has non slip floor tiles, there are two grab rails installed one horizontal and one vertical.

The shower/commode chair fits nicely under the sink & a lower mirror has been placed above the sink.

The shower/commode chair has arms that lift up for an easier transfer. The chair fits over the W.C. and there are grab rails either side of the W.C.

A shower trolley is also kept at the villa, and a toilet raiser. There is also a mobile massage table.
