The Earle of Leinster has been in operation since 1989 and is located in the historic uptown area of Saint John, NB.
It is rated 4 stars by CANADA SELECT and offers private bathrooms, your choice of heritage or contemporary rooms, and a full breakfast for our guests.
As much as we enjoyed our professions after all those years we felt it was time to move in a different direction and remembered NB with fond memories - after all, it was where our first son was born (we also had a daughter in Manitoba and one in BC and now have 7 adorable grandchildren). The more relaxed Maritime lifestyle, the friendliness of the people, the heritage features, and all the antiques drew us to Saint John.
The 9 rooms are individually appointed in eclectic Victorian or country-style decor. All provide WiFi access, cable TV, minifridges and private bathrooms. Some add 4-poster beds and/or kitchenettes, while 2 have full kitchens. Many retain original marble fireplaces.
We enjoy entertaining and so were very excited to be able to purchase an established B&B in the Uptown Saint John area, especially one steeped in such rich history that is rarely found in BC.
We are already enjoying the many stories of our guests and residents and invite you to a comfortable room and cheery breakfast where we hope to hear many more.
All our spacious rooms offer a private bathroom with shower, cable tv, WI FI and a mini fridge. Several rooms also offer microwaves and kitchenettes and two rooms have a full kitchen.
Begin each morning with a hearty breakfast, fresh brewed coffee, a pot of tea, and chilled fruit juices.
