Vacanza is Italian for vacation and the name of this Surry Hills pizzeria couldn't be more spot on. From the owners of Bronte's famed Vacanza Pizzeria, this Bourke Street restaurant offers a simple yet classic Italian menu that focuses on quality ingredients. Vacanza captures the same relaxed vibe as the original venture with textured brick walls, high wooden stools and BYO policy. A handful of pastas (we hear the lasagne is tops) and antipasti grace the menu, however the real star is the authentic thin crust pizza. The toppings are simple, but the quality is superb and fits perfectly with owner Nick Gilberts' philosophy of ‘less is more'.
