Welcome to Mahogany Manor! This house was built between 1902 and 1905 by William Cross, a local Saint John businessman who was a deacon in the Germain Street Baptist church next door. The house is a mixture of Queen Anne and Craftsman architectural styles. Mahogany Manor is located on Germain Street, a quiet tree-lined residential street in the heart of the uptown area. Here the homes boast rich Victorian elegance with fine woodwork, spacious rooms, ornate carvings and stained glass.
Mahogany Manor features spacious living areas in a turn of the century home, lovingly restored to the classic elegance of its period. Careful attention has been paid to the quailty and craftsmanship of the original appointments of a bygone era.

Guests have written about a variety of topics in note, verse, song, or prose. Some have written a few lines while others have written pages. All comments are treasured. Some find other guest's views and/or recommendations on other Bed & Breakfasts they have experienced to be very helpful when planning their journey. Throughout this website, you will find many quotes taken from these journals.
