Our charming 1884 red brick Victorian home is located one block from the St. Lawrence River, and close to many local restaurants and attractions. Relax in our spacious living area, sip wine on our sun-drenched second-floor balcony, and use our home as your own while you explore this world-famous region.

With so many things to see and do in Gananoque, you will need a hearty home-cooked breakfast to get you started and keep you going throughout the day. What makes our breakfasts so good? Good old fashioned home-cooking and fresh ingredients are the key.
Home-cooking
At Turtle Island Bed and Breakfast we make all of our dishes from scratch- no pre-fabricated mixes, and only fresh ingredients.
In the morning you will come downstairs to find freshly baked scones- right off the rack, served with farm-fresh butter. Enjoy your scones along with a fresh fruit yogurt parfait, fresh brewed coffee, an assortment of teas, and orange juice. Afterwards you will choose from a variety of specialties, including Belgian waffles, Eggs Benedict, omelettes, or eggs made to order. All breakfasts are served with bacon, sausage, and fresh bread.
Our Garden
Our organic garden provides fresh herbs and vegetables that we use to complement our cuisine.
Common Areas
The house features several common areas that are exclusively for our guests to enjoy. This includes a comfortable living room, a large dining room, and a second floor office with computer and Internet. Guests can also relax in the sun or enjoy a glass of wine on the guest balcony located on the second floor.

The Algonquin
The Algonquin Room features a queen sized bed, and is located on the second floor at the front of the house. It has an ensuite bathroom with shower and bathtub, and a self-contained air conditioning unit.
The Cayuga
The Cayuga Room features a queen sized bed, and is located on the second floor at the back of the house. It has an ensuite bathroom with shower and bathtub, and a self-contained air conditioning unit.
The Manitoulin
The Manitoulin Room features a queen sized bed, and is located on the second floor at the south side of the house. It has a private bathroom with shower and bathtub, and a self-contained air conditioning unit.
