The Bingham nestles along the towpath between Richmond Bridge and Petersham Meadows.
It's one of London’s most unexpected boutique hotels or ‘restaurant with rooms’: A Georgian townhouse overlooking the Thames, a gourmet bolthole for lunch and dinner dates, a chic retreat for romantic getaways and a timeless wedding and events venue.
The garden at the Bingham is a tranquil riverside spot, where guests can wonder, children can play, or wedding guests can mingle.
Gardener, John Tebbs has transformed the waterside space into a modern English garden with lawns, flower borders and trees. There is an edible kitchen potager with unusual culinary plants and flowers used by our restaurant and bar; a long herbaceous border with grasses and plants that wave and rustle to echo the river flow beyond and a hidden seating area underneath a canopy of trees ideal for a romantic meeting or private dining experience.
Most of our bedrooms underwent refurbishment earlier this year. Eleven of the fifteen bedrooms have been transformed to encapsulate modern luxury and timeless features and furnishings ensuring guests feel at ease from the moment they step through the door. The new look rooms have individual design led interiors with sustainable natural materials, soft shades and reclaimed original 1950’s chairs from Sunbury antiques. All have luxury organic mattresses from Devon based company, Naturalmat and some have in-room copper bath tubs from Catchpole and Rye.
The remaining four rooms will undergo their transformation later this year. Each of these Classic rooms has a comfortable interior with all the modern conveniences a traveller expects. The style is different from those that have enjoyed a makeover.
