There are many who claim to serve brilliant burgers, but Ze Pickle lives up to its reputation. The Surry Hills eatery is all about assembling towering construction of bread, meat and cheese, with delicious variations like swapping out regular buns for waffles. The heart stopping beauties come in Wagyu mince, chicken breast, slow cooked pulled pork and vegetarian varieties. Also available are cool bar snacks, craft beers and vintage vibes.

The idea for Ze Pickle came about one balmy evening whilst mates Nathan Zukerman, Aaron Wilson & Joey Day were hand picking the final baskets of mini cucumbers on Aaron's (German) great uncle Wolfgang's farm for his pickle factory.
All the jars had been sterilised, the dill, garlic and mustard seeds had been added and the cucumbers were just about to get pickled when Joey threw a momentous tantrum. The little green cucumbers had struck a chord deep inside Joey's heart and he had come to realise that he had been unable to find the perfect burger since he had last been to the good ol' US of A.
Joey was visibly upset and unable to continue pickling, so to console him, Nathan & Aaron promised him that they would collectively open their own place in their hometown of Burleigh Heads where they could make the burgers Joey had been dreaming of on a nightly basis since 1997.
After hearing those comforting words, almost instantaneously, Joey had that brilliant sparkle back in those Beautiful steely blue eyes of his, and there was an amazing supernatural energy filling the 80 year old pickling barn full of positivity and enthusiasm. The 3 of them pickled like they had never done before and in doing so, produced the best batch of Pickled Cucumbers for Great Uncle Wolfgang that had ever left the pickling farm.
With the riches that Great Uncle Wolfgang earned from that amazing batch of pickles, he decided to donate the lot to the 3 pickling wonders and from there they found a shop to lease and the rest so they say is history. They went on to open Ze pickle in October 2012.
With their combined love of Pickles,Beer,Burgers and Music, they created an amazing unique space where punters could wind down (or wind up) and sample the Best Burgers on the Gold Coast (an award they won in their first 6 months of opening) alongside the finest craft beer selection on the GC. They have successfully created a bustling restaurant/bar not only serving the aforementioned beer and burgers, but also serving up a first-class cocktail list, great wines and a prime selection of Tequila's in a super friendly, unpretentious atmosphere.
