Grosvenor Hotel in St Kilda has been welcoming guests since the 1800s, but it is thoroughly modern in its fit out and its attitude. Today, it is a multi-faceted venue perfect for casual drinks, family dinners, as well as larger functions. There’s entertainment – from trivia to live music, as well as meal deals all week long. The menu features traditional pub favourites, from woodfired pizza to class parmas, as well as succulent grass-fed Angus beef.
Conveniently located minutes away from St Kilda, Grosvenor Hotel has seen many transformations including a complete refurbishment in 2011. With excellent accessibility by both public transport and car, Grosvenor Hotel is a venue which is in the same time easy to reach and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Grosvenor Hotel prides itself on its commitment to sourcing, ageing and preparing premium cuts of grass fed Victorian beef, which is available in the Bistro, the drive-thru burger bar (STKBB) and to take home from the Grosvenor Grocery & Bottle Shop. The menu at Grosvenor Hotel is expansive, including some traditional pub dishes such as parmas, burgers and pizza, also featuring snacks to match with beer and a few larger dishes to share, such as whole roasted suckling pig or whole roasted Rib Eye of beef carved table side.
The main menu attraction at Grosvenor Hotel is the 100 per cent certified Angus, grass fed Victorian beef, which is both dry and wet aged on site for a minimum of six weeks to achieve maximum flavour. There are five different cuts on offer as well as the NY Strip loin which is aged on the bone and cut to order.
The cake cabinet is stocked daily with tempting morsels such as honeycomb, Grosvenor Gateaux and the delicious Brighton Rocky Road all made in house by Grosvenor Hotel’s Pastry Chef Daniel James. Unique cakes or special treats can be created to suit any occasion.
Grosvenor Hotel prides itself on a beverage selection that boasts a fine choice of wines by the glass from an almost entirely Victorian list. The extensive wine list offers a selection of great value wines to suit all budgets. Enjoy a cheerful Riesling for a catch up with friends or a bottle of Penfold’s Grange for that special occasion.
For lovers of craft beer, there are nine tap beers to choose from (plus one cider), most of which are sourced from local brewers – and an expansive list of local and imported bottled beer. Join Grosvenor Hotel from 5pm to 7pm for Happy Hour every day of the week where you can enjoy drink specials to start your night. Grosvenor Hotel also makes a range of classic and unique cocktails which can be ordered individually or for sharing by the pitcher. These can be enjoyed as ‘2 for 1’ all day on Thursday.
